For my birthday, I really wanted a new name necklace. Well, the truth is, I saw an influencer wearing a vertical drop charm name necklace and instantly fell in love. As you know, we design and sell jewelry, so I contacted our manufacturer in LA to price out having similar ones made in solid gold with a Sparkl twist of course. Well, that was a big fail!! To get them made was going to cost over $800 for just the charm, wholesale! Meaning if we were to sell them to our customers, the lowest we could sell for is $1600 to barely make a profit.Â
Well, before we make decisions like this we do market research, and this is where I found Babygold. They are based in Los Angeles and make their jewelry in-house, cutting out all of the extra costs. I couldn’t believe the pricing for solid gold! The retail cost of my dream name necklace was less than my wholesale quote. I don’t even know how they do it but I knew we had to try them out. So Joe ordered the necklace and the name charm and gave them to me for my birthday. My best friend, Julie bought me the Italian horn charm..which is good luck and meant to keep the malocchio (evil eye) away. Together they are the perfect symbol of my new Italian (by marriage Era.
I’m in love and since there is obviously no longer a need to design these pieces, I am shelving my fine jewelry idea until I think of something new of course. These pieces have quickly become staples in my daily jewelry rotation, and I love how easy they make it to create a layered necklace look.
A few things I love about the brand:
-
Solid 14k gold pieces in yellow, white or even ROSE GOLD!!
-
Perfect for layering and personalization
-
Classic designs that never go out of style
-
Jewelry that feels meaningful and personal
-
Unbeatable pricing. I don't know how they do it, truly.
If you’re looking for timeless gold jewelry that you can wear every day, Babygold is definitely worth checking out.

My Lucky Italian Horn Charm
The charm I absolutely love is my Italian Horn Charm. My girlfriend bought it for me and I will think of her when i wear it. The Italian horn, also known as a cornicello, is traditionally worn as a symbol of good luck and protection.
This piece has such a sleek, classic design and adds a little bit of meaning to my necklace stack. I love jewelry that tells a story or carries symbolism, and this charm does exactly that.
It’s also one of those pieces that feels timeless — something you could wear for years and never get tired of.

My Personalized Name Charm
One of my favorite jewelry trends right now is personalized pieces, and the Vertical Script Name Charm is such a beautiful way to incorporate that.
This charm is designed in elegant script lettering and hangs vertically from the chain, which gives it a really unique and modern look.
It layers perfectly with other charms and necklaces, but it’s also delicate enough to wear alone if you want something simple.

Connector Cable Chain Necklace
This chain is simple but elevated, with a clean cable chain style that works perfectly for layering charms or wearing on its own. It’s sturdy enough for everyday wear while still feeling delicate and refined. I love that the clasp is seamless and there is no lobster clasp to get caught in my hair. You can also get in two different lengths, which is nice.
