I recently got my hands on the Glass Ladder Everly Tote, Version 3, and I have to say that I LOVE IT! This versatile bag comes with one of my favorite features: swappable straps. Whether I'm in the mood to carry it as a tote, opt for the hands-free convenience of a crossbody, or switch it up to a backpack style, which is a need when it is loaded, this bag effortlessly adapts to my needs.
The practicality of this tote doesn’t stop there. The removable lining is a thoughtful touch, making it easy to keep the bag fresh and clean. I'm a fan of organization, and the interior meets my expectations with plenty of pockets and even cup holders, allowing me to stay organized with my phones, airpods, lipgloss and whatever else I may need.
However, a few downsides are worth noting. Directly out of the packaging, the bag has a factory like smell…I'm hopeful it will dissipate over time. Also, it doesn’t have a laptop sleeve, but I think they will be coming out with one.
I also have to note that I love the trolley slip. I think in this day and age, any large bag without one is unacceptable. No one has time for bags falling off their luggage when traveling. It is just too convenient to slip onto the handle. While the Everly Tote is slightly heavy, it’s definitely lighter than the Beis work tote, making it more comfortable for daily use. Its classy design strikes a balance between fashion and functionality.
All in all, this is absolutely my favorite work purse and I haven’t taken it on a trip yet, but I am sure it will be a perfect “personal item” for your next adventure.
