CENTRAL COAST IV & WELLNESS

Before heading off to Florence, Joe and I were invited to a little wellness reset at Central Coast IV and Wellness. I honestly don’t know why we’d never done an immunity IV before, but it turned out to be the perfect way to prep for travel!

I was so burnt out before we left. We’d crammed a month’s worth of 16 hour workdays into the weeks leading up, so I was basically a walking target for every germ on that plane. Well… not today, Satan.

The IV was loaded with vitamin B complex, vitamin C, magnesium, calcium, and a bunch of other immunity and energy supporting nutrients. Traveling is exhausting enough, so it felt really good to intentionally prioritize hydration, immune support, sleep, and overall energy before vacation even started.

One of my favorite parts was the owner, Linda. She’s a registered nurse and just genuinely so sweet and knowledgeable. She mixes all the vitamins fresh right before your infusion, which made the whole thing feel super personalized and intentional.

The experience itself wasn’t bad at all. Joe hates needles but he actually did pretty well. It pinched for a few seconds, then they pull the needle out and you’re left with just a flexible little tube, so you can move your arm however you want without worrying.

While the IV was going, I also did red light therapy on a heated bed filled with natural healing stones. It turned what could’ve just been a quick health appointment into a legit self care moment. I meant to meditate… but let’s be honest, I took a solid nap. My Oura ring completely outed me. To finish it off, Linda added a skin boosting Glutathione push.

By the time everything was done, I wasn’t tired anymore. I was actually pretty awake the rest of the evening. The magnesium was supposed to help me sleep, but I didn’t sleep that great… probably the travel anxiety. I did notice my skin the next day though. My face was glowing. And best of all, we both stayed healthy the entire trip, which was the whole reason we did it. There’s nothing worse than planning a vacation and spending half of it sick.

Linda told me she has tons of moms and grandmas who come in monthly just to avoid the germ infested kids. We call them Typhoid Marys in our house.

If you’re ever in the Pismo Beach area and want a wellness experience that’s actually relaxing and beneficial, I can’t recommend Central Coast IV and Wellness enough ✨
